Job summary

The City of The Colony is seeking a Parks Maintenance Supervisor to support athletic facilities, coordinating maintenance and staff for events while ensuring top customer service. You will supervise crews, operate equipment, and maintain records using Cityworks.

A strong focus on safety and effective communication with the public and private sectors is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a Texas driver’s license, and the ability to obtain an irrigation license within

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Background in athletic field/turf maintenance.
• Irrigation license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform maintenance at athletic facilities.
• Schedule maintenance staff for tournament play.
• Supervise crew in various park maintenance tasks.
• Operate power tools and equipment as required.
• Inspect fields to identify and prioritize issues.
• Maintain records using Cityworks/work orders.
• Read construction plans; suggest edits as needed.
• Order materials and supplies for tasks.
• Attend training on products, practices, and trends.
• Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Work extended hours for events, including nights/weekends.
• May perform other department duties as assigned.
