Job summary

The University of New Hampshire seeks an Athletic Facilities and Events Coordinator to assist with preparing facilities for athletic and special events, perform basic repairs, and manage event staff. This on-campus role requires reliability, physical fitness, and the ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in college athletics.
• Desire to start a career in college athletics.
• High level of mechanical aptitude; attention to detail; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems independently.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Athletic Facilities Supervisor with preparing facilities for athletic events, special events, and general maintenance.
• Perform basic repair work and setup/breakdown of equipment.
• Assist with field snow removal and maintaining cleanliness of facilities and storage areas.
• Manage student workers and supervise event staff during assigned events.
• Take on additional Athletic Event Management duties as needed including event setup/breakdown and coordinating staff.
