Job summary

BEST Crowd Management in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking Event Staff for major athletic events. You will greet attendees, assist with directions, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment throughout events.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with strong communication, reliability, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service or event experience is a plus. Part-time, paid hourly, with training and growth opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college helpful.
• Prior customer service, hospitality, or event experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with diverse guests.
• Must stay calm and professional in busy settings.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be physically able to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to event attendees.
• Assist with event setup and signage placement.
• Monitor venues for cleanliness and adherence to policies.
• Answer questions and provide information about the event.
• Direct guests to seating, restrooms, concessions, and exits.
• Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with staff and vendors for smooth operations.
• Assist with crowd management to ensure safety.
