Job summary

The University of North Dakota is seeking a part-time Athletics Operations student to support game operations, facilities, and equipment services across the department. This position is non-benefited and restricted to UND students.

Responsibilities include assisting senior staff, laundry services, and event set-up at on-site venues, with additional duties as assigned. Expected to work 10–20 hours weekly, primarily on campus and evenings/weekends as needed.

• Assist with laundry services.
• Set up events at Betty Engelstad Sioux Center and Ralph Engelstad Arena.
• Perform other duties in facilities operations as assigned.

Purpose of Position

The Athletic Operations staff at the University of North Dakota is in search of dedicated, hard-working students that will be able to assist our program with a variety of day-to-day tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills to assist in both the operational and administrative functions of the program. This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting the Deputy Athletics Director and Assistant Athletics Director of Operations with day-to-day responsibilities in the areas of game operations, facilities, and equipment services for the whole Athletics Department.
• Assistance with laundry services
• Event set-up at the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center and Ralph Engelstad Arena
• Other duties assigned in different facilities operations by Athletics.

Minimum Requirements

• Punctual, responsible, and accountable for completing tasks in a timely manner.
• Dedicated to fulfilling tasks in a timely manner.
• Excellent interpersonal & communication (verbal & written) skills.
• Some knowledge of Athletics Department game operations.
• Willing and able to follow the directions of supervisors.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
• Successful Completion of a Criminal History Background Check
