Job summary

Alpha reimagines the school day around faster learning, mentorship, and real-world skills. This role sits at the center of that mission: you’ll develop the Guides who work directly with students, and lead life-skills workshops that help students remember and apply these lessons.

You will use performance data to coach Guides, drive improvements weekly, and model excellence. This is a full-time on-campus role requiring a Bachelor’s in Education and 5+ years in youth education leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or related field.
• Experience leading an ongoing team of five or more adults with performance-based decisions.
• Sustained responsibility for learning, behavior, motivation, or growth of children ages 5-14.
• Proven ability to use performance metrics and data to diagnose problems and drive results.
• Willingness to work in a school that rejects traditional pedagogy.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Guides to deliver Alpha's coaching model with consistency and standards.
• Lead life skills workshops for K-8 students using proven playbooks.
• Use student and Guide performance data to identify opportunities and drive improvements weekly.
• Lead motivation sessions that help students own ambitious goals and achieve them.
• Maintain your own student cohort while modeling coaching excellence and accountability.
