Job summary

Lake Tahoe Community College seeks an Athletic Director to provide leadership for all athletic programs and ensure CCCAA compliance. The role partners with housing, student services and boosters to support student-athlete success and transfer pathways.

Compensation starts at $93,047–$102,708 with potential to $119,040; bilingual pay and advanced degrees paid. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, CalPERS, generous leave, and a telecommute pilot for up to 20% of the week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading collegiate athletic programs and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of CCCAA rules and compliance.
• Ability to coordinate with faculty, coaches, and student services.
• Commitment to diversity and equity in athletics.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends per game schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and promote LTCC athletic programs, including intercollegiate and intramural activities.
• Ensure compliance with CCCAA and other regulations affecting athletics.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Academic Affairs, coaches and staff to set goals and objectives.
• Represent LTCC on conference committees or boards related to athletics.
