Job summary

Lake Tahoe Community College seeks a highly motivated Head Soccer Coach (Women’s) to lead the college’s intercollegiate program on a year‑round basis. The role combines coaching excellence with student‑athlete academic support and compliance with CCCAA, GVC, and LTCC policies.

The position is part‑time adjunct faculty teaching athletics courses, reporting to the Athletic Director, and responsible for program leadership, recruitment, and budget coordination.

Qualifications

• All faculty must meet state-adopted minimum qualifications for the teaching role.
• Athletic Training: bachelor’s degree or higher plus two years of professional experience, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural backgrounds of students.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned athletic courses and coach soccer.
• Provide leadership and direction for a competitive intercollegiate program.
• Plan practices, organize training, and conduct team meetings.
