Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Administration and Supervision or related field.
• Possess or be eligible for Georgia Certificate in Educational Leadership Tier I or Tier II.
• At least 5 years of experience in K-12 school programs; administrative experience preferred.
• Extensive successful teaching/coaching experience at the 6-12 or university level.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct regular meetings with head coaches and related personnel to ensure knowledge of and compliance with county/state practices, procedures, and regulations.
• Build systems for positive outcomes allowing coaches to focus on coaching and student development.
• Coordinate and monitor athletic budget with data-driven metrics for decision making.
• Advance the district's vision toward a first-class game day experience for athletes and the community.
• Provide direction and support for short and long-term athletic initiatives and facilities.
• Attend games and events as a district representative and coordinate scheduling for tournaments.
• Serve as GaLEADS evaluator for teachers as assigned.
• Assist with enrollment, eligibility, and investigations involving athletics.
