Job summary

Covenant Day School is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director/Sports Information Director to oversee athletic communications, media relations, and game operations. This role partners with the Communications & Marketing team to promote CDS teams, coaches, and student-athletes, while ensuring alignment with the school's mission and branding.

The position is full-time, exempt, reporting to the Athletic Director, with responsibilities across game administration, livestreams, event planning,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred in Communications or Journalism.
• Master’s Degree in Sports Management with marketing/communication emphasis preferred.
• Five to ten years in athletic admin or related role with communications/marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sports information and media relations for CDS athletics.
• Support game administration, equipment, and uniform management.
• Plan and execute athletic department events and awards.
• Oversee livestreams, broadcasts, and digital programs for home events.
• Coordinate Booster Club activities and communications.
