Job summary

RSU5 Durham-Freeport-Pownal is seeking athletic staff for the 2026-2027 season across Freeport High School and Freeport Middle School and Durham Community School. Roles include Boys Basketball Assistant Varsity, JV Boys Basketball, Girls/Boys Swimming Head Coach, and 8th/7th grade basketball coaching.

Compensation is stipend-based under the CEA Schedule B; positions remain open until filled. Valid CHRC fingerprinting from Maine Dept. of Education is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CHRC (fingerprinting) from Maine Dept. of Education.

Responsibilities

• Coach Boys Basketball at Freeport High School and Freeport Middle School as listed: Assistant Varsity, JV Boys, Girls/Boys Swimming Head Coach, and Boys Basketball 8th/7th grade positions.
• Ensure adherence to the CEA Schedule B Athletic Stipends for contract-year pay.
• Positions remain open until suitable candidates are found.

Pay for these positions are based on the CEA Collective Bargaining Agreement Schedule B Athletic Stipends ranging from $1,058.00 to $7,775.00 per contract year.
