Job summary

The Dalton School in Manhattan's Upper East Side seeks enthusiastic Athletics Coaches for the Spring 2027 season to work with student-athletes in grades 7–12. The season runs from March through May with practices and contests at the 87th Street Campus.

Coaching opportunities span Baseball, Golf, Track & Field, and Volleyball (Boys). Coaches are expected to help develop skills, foster sportsmanship, and build a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Availability 2:30 PM–6:30 PM on weekdays
• First Aid/CPR/AED certifications preferred or willingness to obtain certification prior to the season

Responsibilities

• Coach and support student-athletes, build positive team culture, and foster skill development and sportsmanship.
• Season runs March through May with practices and contests in the afternoons.
• Work across multiple Spring sports as assigned (Baseball, Golf, Track & Field, Volleyball Boys)

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced coaches to join our Athletics Program for the Spring 2027 season. Coaching opportunities may be available across our Middle School and High School teams (grades 7-12) and at a variety of competitive levels. The season runs from March through the end of May.

We are looking for coaches who are passionate about working with student-athletes, building positive team culture, and supporting skill development, sportsmanship, and personal growth.

Spring Sports Include:

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
