Job summary

The Dalton School in New York, NY is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated coaches for its Athletics Program for the Fall 2026 season. Opportunities exist across Middle School and High School teams, which span various competitive levels. Coaches will work to develop student-athletes in assigned sports while fostering a positive team culture.

Candidates should have previous coaching or competitive experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and availability on weekdays. A salary range of $2,500 to $7,000 per season will be provided for the role.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching and/or competitive playing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Availability approximately 2:30 PM-6:30 PM on weekdays.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications preferred.

Overview

The Dalton School, a progressive K‑12 school in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated coaches for the Athletics Program for the Fall 2026 season. Coaching opportunities are available across Middle School and High School teams (grades 7‑12) at various competitive levels. The season runs from August through the end of October.
