Job summary

Qualifications

• Criminal history background checks and fingerprinting required before employment.
• Pre-employment drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assigned duties related to the sport.
• Check all practice areas daily and remove hazardous objects.
• Help develop a positive public relations program in the school and the community.
• Make recommendations to the athletic director for equipment purchases.
• Provide direction for student-athletes at practices and games.
• Maintain knowledge of medical treatment and clearance requirements for athletic injuries.
• Conduct oneself as a positive role model on and off the field.
• Ensure eligibility of participants and insurance coverage for team members.
• Know the latest Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association rules and district policies.
