Skill seeks a Product Research Associate to join our team. You will conduct large-scale field research, directly informing next-generation performance products for athletes. You will manage logistics, interact with researchers and athletes, and help visualize data for reports.

The role emphasizes independent work, initiative, and strong communication. A background in movement science or biomechanics is preferred, with hands-on experience in human participant studies and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in human participant research.
• Experience with data processing, aggregation, analysis, and visualization.
• Hands-on experience with human subject testing.
• Track record of creative problem-solving in research settings.
• Experience in performance research.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Degree preferred in movement science, biomechanics, kinesiology or biomedical engineering.
• Familiarity with biomechanics, wearable sensors, motion capture, and force plates.
• High initiative and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day logistics and support data collection and analysis for sport research programs.
• Interact with researchers, athletes, and staff, communicating study details, troubleshooting equipment, and providing updates.
• Oversee inventory management of research tools and products, ensuring smooth operations.
• Summarize and visualize complex data, transforming raw information into actionable insights.
• Assist in preparing comprehensive reports and compelling presentations.
• Contribute to large-scale field studies, working with athletes to study movement patterns in real-world environments.
