Job summary

Parkview Health is seeking a Mental Performance Coach to support Parkview Sports Medicine. You will counsel individuals and teams, translate research into practical guidance, and track outcomes to help athletes perform at their best.

Must hold a Bachelor’s in sports psychology with 5+ years in the field; CPR certification is required, and iPEC/MGCP/MPM credentials are preferred or to be obtained within two years of hire. Strong communication and weekend/evening availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sports psychology or related area from a regionally accredited US college or university.
• Master’s degree in sports psychology or equivalent certifications preferred.
• MGCP or MPM certification required within 2 years of hire; CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mental performance coaching, preferably with high school and college athletes.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group mental performance counseling and education for athletes.
• Translate latest scientific evidence into practical recommendations for performance and wellbeing.
• Track and document outcomes of mental performance services and serve as a resource for coaches and families.
• Deliver mental performance education for health/wellness programs and community groups.
