Parkview Health seeks a Strength and Conditioning professional to lead a comprehensive program across partnered high schools. You will design, supervise, and implement training, organize large group sessions before, during, and after the school day, and oversee summer programming for both high schools and middle schools.
You will collaborate with Athletic Directors and coaches, perform baseline testing, manage data entry, and maintain facilities.
Responsible for supervision, programming, and implementation of a comprehensive strength and conditioning program at one of PSM's 31 partnered high schools. Organizes, supervises, and conducts large group training sessions before, during, and after the school day. Oversees the summer strength and conditioning program for both the high school and local middle schools. Communicates regularly with Athletic Director and Sport Coaches to ensure student-athlete needs are being met. Performs baseline testing on diverse athlete populations, data entry, and facility maintenance. Delegates responsibilities to the school district Physical Education teacher assigned to the classroom.
BSc or BA in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Education or related field.
Certifications by the National Strength and Conditioning Association or other national governing body (American College of Sports Medicine, USA Weightlifting, Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association) required.

One year's experience working in a human performance/ strength and conditioning environment. Experience leading sport-specific training sessions for youth populations preferred.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and decision making skills. The candidate must also be mature, highly dependable, and possess the ability to build a good rapport with sport coaches, parents, and other members of the PSM staff and community. A strong background in sport-specific resistance training and conditioning is required.
