Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to help create a positive shopping experience and confidently assist athletes with product knowledge. You will uphold brand standards, participate in loyalty programs, and ensure safety and loss-prevention guidelines are followed.

In this role you will contribute to an inclusive, welcoming store environment, support the team across the floor, and perform additional duties as needed to keep operations smooth and engaging for customers.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to policies related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
