Job summary

Capula Ltd in Athens is seeking an experienced Operations and Compliance Lead to run the new Athens office, overseeing finance, payroll, tax and office management in line with Greek and EU regulations.

You will partner with the London, UK and US groups to support portfolio managers and traders, manage vendor relationships, risk controls and internal audits, and ensure timely regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education in finance, business management, or a related field.
• Additional accounting, finance or compliance qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and office management of the Athens office.
• Manage finance, accounting, payroll, tax and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate onboarding of new staff and IT/tool access.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting with external providers.
• Support Portfolio Managers and Traders on business management needs.
• Track project deliverables and address delivery risks.
• Ensure compliance with Greek and EU regulations, including MiFID II, AIFMD and UCITS.
• Serve as the local point of contact with regulators like HCMC and coordinate filings.
• Coordinate regulatory training and keep the business informed of changes.
