Job summary

IMI Industrial Services Group seeks a full-time Millwright local to the Athens, GA area to install, repair, and maintain machinery in industrial settings, following drawings and specifications with emphasis on safety and quality.

This position requires 3–5 years of experience; NCCER certification preferred. You will use hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools to assemble and align gearboxes, conveyors, and pumps, working in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or millwright work.
• NCCER certification or related technical school program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment according to plans and drawings.
• Apply intermediate mathematical skills for measurements, conversions, and calculations.
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools.
• Work safely at heights and make decisions based on quantifiable information.
