Job summary

IMI Industrial Services Group is seeking a full-time Millwright local to the Commerce, GA area. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in industrial settings, following blueprints and drawings with precision and safety in mind.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience and NCCER certification or completion of a related program. The job requires climbing, lifting, and working in varied weather conditions, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in milling/maintenance
• NCCER cert or related program preferred
• Ability to read construction drawings and measure precisely

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain machinery per plans and drawings using hoists, lift trucks, and tools
• Assemble equipment such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes and pumps
• Align machines and equipment with precision using measuring tools
• Follow step-by-step procedures for planning, problem solving, and decisions based on data
• Operate safely at heights and in tight spaces, indoors and outdoors
