Job summary

RavenTek is seeking an Aternity Performance Engineer to design, deploy, and support application monitoring for our MacDill AFB program. The role focuses on data networks, system administration, and APM to support 24x7x365 operations.

The ideal candidate will engineer, administer, and optimize Riverbed-related technologies, maintain cybersecurity compliance, and manage lifecycle activities across Windows/Linux, virtualization, and scripting environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive IT/relevant field experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience for bachelor option.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows & Linux server administration.
• Advanced knowledge of VMware or other virtualization platforms.
• Experience with application performance monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers on application performance and monitoring.
• Create custom reports and dashboards.
• Identify trends for application performance across the enterprise.
• Troubleshoot APM infrastructure issues.
• Provide support for internal and external customers in an enterprise environment.
• Support other team members in troubleshooting and project efforts.
• Configure and install APM software.
• Resolve issues escalated through support tiers for cloud and local infrastructure.
• Create and maintain SOPs for customers.
• Monitor application performance and integrity.
• Maintain technical documentation as required.
• Suggest improvements to increase performance.
