Job summary

Just Smokin’ Barbecue is seeking dependable team members for a fast-paced counter-service role. You’ll take orders, process payments with Toast POS, help with basic prep, and keep the dining area clean and stocked.

We value punctual, friendly individuals who can multitask, work well with a small team, and handle varying shifts including evenings and weekends. Prior restaurant experience helps, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
• Dependable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Friendly with good customer service skills.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to clean, do dishes, and help with all aspects of restaurant operations.
• Able to work well with a small team.
• Consistent availability, including some evenings and weekends.
• Previous restaurant experience is helpful, but we're willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Taking customer orders and processing payments using Toast POS
• Assembling, double-checking, and bagging orders
• Running food, cleaning tables, and assisting customers
• Restocking sauces, supplies, and serving line items
• Assisting with basic food prep and serving line duties
• Washing dishes and maintaining clean work areas
• Completing opening, closing, and general cleaning duties
• Helping teammates wherever needed throughout the shift
• Opportunities to assist with catering events and our food truck
