Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is hiring an entry‑level automotive technology support technician to learn diagnostics, calibrations, scanning, and programming under experienced field technicians. You will be exposed to manufacturer specifications and quality controls in a hands-on environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work with common tools and software such as Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint and Word.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in automotive technology support preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and technical aptitude with common office tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn the manufacturer specifications with quality controls.
• Hands-on training with experienced field technicians to become independent.
• Gain skills in diagnostics, calibrations/programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.

At Automotive Technology Experts (ATE), we understand the importance of providing fast and accurate vehicle diagnostic scanning and calibration services. We service hundreds of customers that rely on us to ensure that the repairs they have completed are safe and that the vehicle will operate as the manufacturer had intended.

ATE was founded in 2019 to provide technological and electrical repair expertise in the collision industry that struggles to stay current with the rapidly changing technology in vehicles. We employ technicians across the country. Our growth will continue as we add team members that strive to be the best, commit to taking care of our customers, and continue to train so that they can accomplish team goals and obtain career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Learn the industry standard of the manufacturer’s original specification with high quality controls
• Hands‑on training with an experienced Field Technicians who will guide you to be a stand alone technician
• Learning basics of:
• Diagnostics
• Calibrations/programming
• Scanning
• Wire/Connector repair

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Prior experience in Automotive Technology Support
• Strong technological skills, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, and team members
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities
