Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts is seeking a motivated individual for automotive technology support. The role focuses on learning manufacturer specifications with strict quality controls while gaining hands-on experience under a senior Field Technician.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, calibrations/programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair. Strong communication and customer-service orientation are essential, with proficiency in Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Experience supporting automotive technology is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with common office software (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Learn the industry standard of the manufacturer’s original specification with high quality controls.
• Hands-on training with an experienced Field Technician to become a stand-alone technician.
• Develop basic skills in diagnostics, calibrations/programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.

At Automotive Technology Experts (ATE), we understand the importance of providing fast and accurate vehicle diagnostic scanning and calibration services. We service hundreds of customers that rely on us to ensure that the repairs they have completed are safe and that the vehicle will operate as the manufacturer had intended.

ATE was founded in 2019 to provide technological and electrical repair expertise in the collision industry that struggles to stay current with the rapidly changing technology in vehicles. We employ technicians across the country. Our growth will continue as we add team members that strive to be the best, commit to taking care of our customers, and continue to train so that they can accomplish team goals and obtain career advancement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Learn the industry standard of the manufacturer’s original specification with high quality controls
• Hands-on training with an experienced Field Technicians who will guide you to be a stand alone technician

• Learning basics of:
• Diagnostics
• Calibrations/programming
• Scanning
• Wire/Connector repair

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

• Prior experience in Automotive Technology Support

• Strong technological skills, including but not limited to: Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers, technicians, and team members
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
