Job summary

CMTS, LLC is seeking a skilled Air Traffic Control Tower Construction Project Manager to lead on-site construction activities in Tampa, FL. You will oversee schedule, cost, quality, safety, and coordination among FAA, HCAA, designers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery at Tampa International Airport.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of CM experience, and OSHA 30 certification, with on-site availability and security credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible construction management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, complex vertical construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing contractors, designers, inspectors, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day construction management and owner's representative support for the ATCT project.
• Coordinate construction activities among HCAA, FAA, contractors, designers, consultants, airport operations, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and overall construction performance.
• Review contractor schedules, progress reports, RFIs, submittals, change requests, pay applications, and other construction documentation.
• Evaluate construction issues and provide recommendations to HCAA management.
• Monitor potential cost and schedule impacts and assist with mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Lead or participate in construction progress, coordination, quality, risk, and issue-resolution meetings.
• Coordinate project turnover, training, O&M documentation, warranties, and closeout.
