Responsibilities

• Perform daily onsite inspection of construction activities.
• Verify construction conforms to approved plans, specs, contract requirements, submittals, and standards.
• Monitor workmanship, materials, installation methods, and sequencing.
• Document daily activities, workforce, equipment, weather, progress, and deficiencies.
• Review contractor activities for compliance with quality control plans.
• Coordinate inspection activities with airport and project stakeholders.
• Identify potential nonconforming work and communicate concerns to leadership.
• Track deficiencies and corrective actions through resolution.
• Witness testing and inspections as required.
• Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field modifications as they relate to inspection.
• Assist with progress verification and contractor payment documentation.
• Monitor impacts on airport operations and adjacent facilities.
• Participate in progress, quality, safety, and coordination meetings.
• Support turnover and closeout activities.
