ATC SME/QA Analyst (CSA, On-site)

Job summary

CSSI, LLC. seeks a QA/QC specialist with ATC background to join our Fort Worth, TX team. The role focuses on review/validation of MORs, incident investigations, reporting, and FAA communications to support safety programs.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in math/engineering/science with 15+ years ATC experience at LVL 8+ facilities, or 8 years substitute. The position is full-time at CSSI's Central Service Area, Fort Worth office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in math, engineering, or science plus a minimum of 15 years ATC experience in a LVL 8 or higher FAA/military equivalent ATC facility.
• Educational Requirement: In lieu of an applicable bachelor's degree eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted.
• Candidate must able to work out of the Central Service Area (Forth Worth, TX office) on a full time basis.

Responsibilities

• Review and validation of Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs).
• Investigates surface incidents including runway incursions, vehicle/pedestrian deviations, pilot deviations, ATC loss of separation. As appropriate conducts interviews of pilots.
• Completes required preliminary reporting forms, i.e., FAA Form 8020-17, for various incidents.
• Creates replays and retrieves voice recordings to assist in investigation, research, and review of incidents.
• As requested by the QA Manager prepares reports to support and communicate program status.
• Communicates with FAA Facilities and other program offices. Purpose of communication is to provide assistance to field facilities concerning QA/QC and Runway Safety issues and share information with other program offices.
• Contacts field facilities to request information that cannot be obtained through other methods.
