Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced Casual Air Traffic Control Instructor‑I for the Dallas/Ft. Worth TRACON (D10) to deliver hands-on classroom instruction to development and CPC students. You will mentor trainees and RPOs, participate in curriculum design, and ensure compliance with FAA training standards.

The role requires FAA CPC certification with the ability to obtain Instructor‑I, strong teaching skills, and effective liaison with FAA personnel at all levels to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• 5+ years FAA CPC experience at the same or higher level as the Dallas/Ft. Worth TRACON (D10).
• CPC certification with ability to obtain Instructor‑I certification.
• Proven teaching, classroom management, and student-focused approach.
• Ability to interface effectively with FAA personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom instruction to a diverse student body.
• Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators on ATC procedures.
• Contribute to curriculum design and development.
• Meet FAA facility training certifications requirements for Instructor‑I.
