CI² Aviation, Inc. seeks an experienced Air Traffic Chief to lead non-approach control tower operations at Biggs Army Airfield, Fort Bliss, Texas.

The role oversees tower personnel, readiness, qualifications, training, scheduling, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, continuous airfield operations. The ideal candidate has six years of Army fixed-base ATC tower experience, an active SECRET clearance, and DoD/FAA credentials.

Qualifications

• Six years of Army fixed-base ATC tower experience.
• Tower rating/current certification required.
• FAA Form 7220-1 CTO certificate or AVO credential.
• Ability to obtain facility rating prior to duties.
• Active SECRET (Tier 3) security clearance; interim acceptable.
• Active U.S. driver's license for vehicle operation.
• Authorization to work in the United States and pass installation access checks.
• Ability to meet certification, licensing, medical, and qualification requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and manage daily ATC tower operations per military, ICAO, federal, state, and installation requirements.
• Attend daily briefing to inform government personnel on missions and safety issues.
• Provide subject matter expertise and technical recommendations to Airfield Division personnel.
• Develop and maintain facility duty schedules for continuous coverage.
• Ensure controllers maintain currency, qualifications, certifications, and medical eligibility.
• Conduct qualification evaluations, annual written exams, and controller skill evaluations.
• Review TERPS data for the assigned facility and ensure NAVAID readiness.
• Monitor equipment status and coordinate with maintenance for deficiencies.
• Maintain documentation, forms, and training materials and ensure proper distribution.
