Job summary

Visiting Angels Richardson TX is seeking compassionate at-home caregivers to support clients across Richardson, Addison and surrounding North Texas communities. You will assist with daily activities, meals, mobility and companionship according to personalized care plans.

The role offers flexible shifts, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and at least two years of caregiving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable vehicle to transport clients.
• Minimum 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid training and emergency response training required.
• Excellent time-management and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties within dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Compassionate and positive attitude toward clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.

• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.

Role

As a Visiting Angels At Home Caregiver, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

At Home Caregiver Job Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Minimum 2 Years Professional Caregiving Experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
