Visiting Angels Richardson is hiring an In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper to support seniors across North Texas from Richardson, Garland, Plano, Addison and surrounding communities.

You will assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, medication reminders, mobility support, and transport to appointments, while providing a compassionate, respectful companionship. Training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is offered to grow your skills. This role offers flexible shifts and a community-focused team.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate home care.
• Ability to manage time and coordinate tasks with clients.
• Respectful and reliable with strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Help clients take prescribed medication and reminders where needed.
• Assist with ambulation, mobility, and transportation to appointments.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene and routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients when possible and do light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and report any unusual incidents promptly.

In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

In Home Caregiver - Housekeeper Requirements

• Passion to serve others - a true caregiver
• Valid Drivers License
• Pet Friendly
• Minimum 2 Years Experience
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
