Position Overview
We are currently seeking a proficient Large All-Terrain (AT) Crane Operator with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills to join our team. The selected candidate will operate large AT cranes and manage logistics related to truckloads of equipment, ensuring efficient transportation, loading, and unloading procedures.

Responsibilities
- Operate large AT cranes to lift, position, and move heavy equipment and materials at various job sites, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Conduct pre-operational inspections of the crane to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to plan and execute the loading and unloading of equipment onto trucks, ensuring secure fastening and safe transportation.
- Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to understand transportation needs and schedule crane operations accordingly.
- Monitor and manage inventory of equipment and materials, tracking their movement and location throughout transportation.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers and personnel involved in transportation, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, equipment inventory, and transportation activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid NCCCO certification.
- 1-3 years of proven experience operating large AT cranes.
- Strong understanding of crane operation principles, load capacities, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in industry rigging standards (ASME, OSHA), including calculating sling angles and tensions, and determining center of gravity through training and experience.
- Expertise in selecting rigging capacities and pick points for safe load support.
- Ability to create and execute critical lift plans, adhering to engineering specifications.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and logistics skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and safety commitment.
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, overtime, and out-of-state travel.
- Ability to pass fit for duty assessments, drug tests, and background checks.
