Position Overview

We are currently looking for an RT Crane Operator with experience in operating rough terrain (RT) cranes during plant outages. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating RT cranes to support maintenance, construction, and turnaround activities at client facilities during scheduled outages. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, with the potential for travel and overtime as needed.

Job Location: Tampa, FL

Requirements: NCCCO certification, high school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 years of experience operating RT cranes, strong understanding of crane operation principles, rigging standards, safety standards, and ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate rough terrain (RT) cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment during plant outages.
2. Coordinate with project team to ensure safe and efficient crane operations.
3. Perform pre-operational inspections and rig loads according to load charts and safety standards.
4. Communicate effectively with ground personnel and monitor weather conditions.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate records of operations.
