Job description

JOB TITLE – ASU Plant Manager
The Air Separation Plant Manager has overall responsibility for employee's and Production of cryogenic materials and pipeline gases at the site. These duties include Quality control (FDA compliance, Food Safety compliance), Safety (OSHA compliance, ISO compliance, and Environmental compliance), Managing personnel (Scheduling work hours, and training), Equipment maintenance (scheduling maintenance, MOC management, Capital Request management) and Accounting of plant costs.


Essential Functions

  1. Plant reliability and scheduling of operation.
  2. Achieve all production, efficiency, quality and budgetary targets.
  3. All Personnel hiring, training and discipline.
  4. Coordination of all plant maintenance.
  5. Coordination of plant personnel work scheduling.
  6. Payment of plant cost incurred at a local level.
  7. Coordination of and local oversight of Distribution activities.
  8. Product release quality control.
  9. Bulk product customer relations at the local level.
  10. Plant reports to Corporate.
  11. Support sales staff.
  12. Coordinate all activities with Bulk Logistics.
  13. Qualify and supervise vendors and contractors.
  14. Assist department head with data and budgetary preparations and presentations.
  15. Public speaking.
  16. Presentation preparation.

Required for All Jobs

  1. Performs other duties as assigned.

  1. Ability to schedule and manage personnel.
