Job description

Job Title: ASU Plant Manager

The Plant Manager at the Air Separation Plant is responsible for overseeing employee management and production of cryogenic materials and pipeline gases at the site. Responsibilities include quality control (FDA and Food Safety compliance), safety (OSHA, ISO, and environmental standards), personnel management (scheduling, training), equipment maintenance (scheduling, MOC, capital requests), and plant cost accounting.

Essential Functions

1. Ensure plant reliability and proper scheduling of operations.
2. Achieve production, efficiency, quality, and budget targets.
3. Handle personnel hiring, training, and discipline.
4. Coordinate plant maintenance and personnel work schedules.
5. Manage local plant costs and oversee distribution activities.
6. Ensure product quality and customer relations at the local level.
7. Report to corporate and support sales staff.
8. Coordinate activities with Bulk Logistics and supervise vendors and contractors.
9. Assist with data and budget preparations, including presentations.
10. Engage in public speaking and presentation preparation.
11. Perform other duties as assigned and comply with policies and standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
