Job summary

Messer Americas is seeking a senior supply chain planning professional to bridge the gap between markets, sales, and operations for ASU & LAR products across the Northeast, West, and Canada. The role emphasizes data-driven decision support, cost savings, and network optimization in a dynamic industrial gases environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating production, inventory targets, and long-term purchasing strategies while supporting strategic growth initiatives and ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years in industrial gases or related process industry with Supply Chain Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between Markets/Sales, Strategic Product Management and Operations for ASU & LAR products across regions.
• Provide product availability and costing analyses for new business and investment cases to senior management.
• Coordinate with Scheduling on inventory vs. alternate sourcing to minimize customer impact.
• Develop operational plans for Sales and Operations Planning and set transport resource levels.
• Oversee outage planning and cost tracking during planned/unplanned events.
• Utilize network optimization tools and drive cost savings and efficiency improvements.
