Job summary

Schmidt Sciences in New York seeks a Program Delivery Associate to support grants management and program delivery within the Astro Center. You will manage gifts and grants through their lifecycle, coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Grants & Gifts teams, and help implement Astro’s priorities while scaling operational processes.

The role focuses on building a strong community of awardees and partners, developing templates and trackers, and ensuring compliance, reporting, and efficient contracting

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in operational, grants, or program management roles.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and timelines.
• Values-based, collaborative working style with ethics and confidentiality.
• Based in New York with ability to travel ~20% of time.

Responsibilities

• Input and maintain grants and gifts data in the grants management system with accuracy and compliance.
• Support due diligence, documentation review, and cross‑functional coordination.
• Monitor reporting requirements, milestones, and payment schedules.
• Assist in the awards process, organizing materials, reviews, and execution.
• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for awardees and internal teams.
• Help launch programs, manage budgets, contracts, and workflows; track progress and metrics.
