Job summary

  • Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in discipline or a qualifying field earned from a regionally accredited college or university by the application date.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with catalog descriptions and approved syllabi.
  • Deliver high-quality instruction and assess student performance per course standards.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students regarding course content and goals.
  • Travel to multiple campuses as assigned and teach dual enrollment classes if required.
  • Collaborate with faculty and leadership on curricular and programmatic needs.
  • Stay current with developments in astronomy and related teaching methods.
