JOB SCOPE

• Perform all operations within a continuous flow-manufacturing cell, utilizing the skills and ability to perform basic adjustments and run all machines, as well as test equipment including burring within the cell, part washing, etching, and utilizations of basic gauging/measuring tools. Assist Tool Design, as needed, in a new fixture, program readouts, and setup during the period of operation for required quality of parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform assigned work in a safety conscious manner.
• Perform assigned work to specify quality and production standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the individual in a clean condition.
• Perform assigned cleaning required to maintain individual’s immediate work area in a clean condition.
• Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.
• Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
• Perform basic adjustments and operate machining centers and related equipment to produce product within specified Company processes and procedures.
• To communicate on a timely basis to all relevant personnel any issues found during the daily processing of product and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Record keeping as required.
• Work with others across payrolls, functions, and shifts to solved problems in timely manner.
• Capable to work unsupervised in their area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previously held a position demonstrating the ability to perform basic adjustments and operate manufacturing machinery; or satisfactorily completed company provided or outside training demonstrating some machine skills; or knowledge equivalent to that required in the Machine Operator classification.
