Job summary

Textron Systems: Lycoming Engines in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Assembly-Cell Machine Operator for first shift. The role involves machining and assembling cylinders using blueprints, BOMs, and precision measuring equipment to meet quality and production standards.

• Prepare and/or maintain all documentation necessary to the duties of the job classification.
• Perform other duties inherently required of the job classification.
• Operate related equipment to produce product within specified Company processes and procedures.
• Communicate any issues found during daily processing of product and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure information is transferred between shifts and team members to maintain continuity.
• Record keeping as required (Router, Test Log, etc.).
• Work with others across payrolls, functions, and shifts to solve problems.

JOB SCOPE:

Perform operations within a continuous flow value stream. Utilize equipment necessary to perform the operations required to complete basic machining and assembly of cylinders. Utilize blueprints, processes, bill of materials, and measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.
