Job summary

CLA is seeking an Assurance Senior to join our Construction practice in the Las Vegas office. You will perform a broad range of audit procedures and help prepare financial statements while supervising and mentoring staff.

You’ll interact with clients to gather information, ensure timely engagement wrap-up, and travel to client sites as needed to support engagements. CPA eligibility is preferred and two years of relevant audit experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• Two years of relevant audit experience required.
• Experience with a public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
• Construction experience is a plus and ability to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Audit complex areas or transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review the work of staff.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep Manager or Principal informed of engagement status and issues.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement wrap-up.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred.
• Two years of relevant audit experience required.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to travel to client sites
