Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Las Vegas seeks an Assurance Senior to join our Construction practice. You will perform audit and accounting procedures, review complex areas, and lead staff on engagements.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA eligibility preferred, and at least two years of audit experience. Travel to client sites is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Two years of audit experience required.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
• Public accounting or professional services experience preferred.
• Construction experience preferred and ability to travel.

How you'll create opportunities in this Assurance Senior role:

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas or transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review the work of staff.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep Manager or Principal informed of engagement status and issues.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement wrap-up.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA preferred.
• Two years of relevant audit experience required.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm is preferred.
• Construction experience preferred
• Ability to travel to client sites
