RSM US LLP is seeking an experienced Assurance Partner to lead audit and assurance relationships within the Asset Management-Private Equity practice. You will drive quality, growth, and consistent delivery while guiding engagement teams on complex audits.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and strategic business development to expand client portfolios and ensure profitability across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Active CPA license in state of residence (or equivalent).
• 13+ years of progressive public accounting/external audit or assurance experience.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining a substantial client portfolio, including bringing in new business.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills with experience guiding staffing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagement relationships and manage client deliverables.
• Oversee multiple engagements and track milestones for complex portfolios.
• Identify accounting and auditing issues early and coordinate with firm specialists.
• Review work, communicate status to clients, and allocate resources for completion.
• Maintain client relationships and understand client goals and strategies.
• Manage profitability, billing, collections, and engagement economics.
