Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking an Assurance Manager or Director to join our Financial Services Group. You will lead audit and assurance engagements for financial institutions, serving as a trusted advisor while driving engagement quality and team development. This role can be based in strategic growth markets including Indianapolis, St.

Louis, Dallas or Des Moine. You will mentor staff, oversee budgets and timelines, review plans and deliverables, and contribute to business development

Qualifications

• 6 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm, driving strategic management preferred.
• CPA required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Serve as a primary client contact, providing proactive guidance and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Oversee engagement budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
• Review audit plans, internal control assessments, and engagement deliverables.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members through ongoing feedback and professional development.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
• Contribute to business development efforts by strengthening existing client relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Deliver operational excellence while ensuring profitable engagement execution and an exceptional client experience.
