Job summary

Wertz & Associates in St. Louis, MO, is seeking an Assurance Manager to lead audit engagements, plan engagements, and mentor staff within a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

You will serve as the primary client contact, manage multiple engagements, and oversee budgets and timelines while upholding US GAAP standards. A CPA and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 6–8+ years of public accounting assurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience managing multiple engagements and leading teams.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Familiarity with Engagement/PFX or Suralink or similar tools.
