Job summary

RSM US LLP in Nashville seeks an intern/associate to understand clients' needs and the audit process. You will learn GAAP/GAAS standards, assess internal controls, and perform substantive tests while drafting financial statements.

Preferred candidates have 90 credit hours completed and are pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, with strong Excel skills and willingness to travel to client sites.

Required Qualifications

90 credit hours completed Working towards B.A. / B.S. degree or equivalent from accredited university Accounting Major Travel to assigned client locations is required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum 3.0 GPA Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to work effectively on a team Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range: $34 - $40 per hour
