Job summary

BDO USA is offering an Assurance Intern position in Hattiesburg for Winter 2027. The role provides hands-on exposure to GAAP, GAAS, and BDO audit methodologies as you support audit teams and engage with clients.

You will participate in training, contribute to audit work papers, and complete a research project to present findings to a panel of Assurance professionals. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training and learn GAAP/GAAS.
• Learn BDO audit methodology to assist with audit process.
• Provide support to audit staff during engagements.
• Communicate audit issues with clients and related parties.
• Prepare and document audit work papers using BDO templates.
• Contribute ideas to audit teams and listen to others.
• Complete one accounting or audit research project and present findings.
• Other duties as required.
