Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking a Director to join our growing assurance practice in North America. This role leads audit engagements, guiding objectives, scope, and risk assessment while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high-quality financial reporting.

You will mentor staff, manage competing priorities, and collaborate across teams to deliver thorough, compliant audits for commercial and financial services clients. A CPA and senior-level leadership are essential in our dynamic firm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
  • 9+ years of progressive audit/assurance experience.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Experience with commercial or financial services clients.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy.
  • Lead multiple audit engagements and competing priorities.
  • Review and examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
  • Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals.
  • Supervise, train and mentor staff during engagement.
  • Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • 5 + years of supervisory experience
