Job summary

EisnerAmper is actively seeking a Director to join our North America assurance practice in New York. You will lead multiple audit engagements, set objectives, and manage client expectations while ensuring accuracy and conformance to standards.

We value experienced professionals with CPA and 9+ years in audit. You will mentor staff, supervise engagements, and contribute to risk management for a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 9+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience.
• CPA credential required.
• Experience with commercial or financial services clients.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy.
• Lead multiple audit engagements and competing priorities.
• Review and examine accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
• Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff during engagement.
• Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• 9 + years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience
• CPA
• Experience with commercial or financial services clients

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• 5 + years of supervisory experience
