Job summary

EisnerAmper LLP is seeking a Director to join our growing assurance practice in North America, based in New York. You will lead audit engagements, collaborate on audit strategy, and maintain client relations to ensure satisfaction and successful engagements.

The role requires 9+ years of progressive audit/assurance experience and a CPA credential. A Master’s degree is preferred, with opportunities to mentor staff and advance within a merit-based, collaborative firm culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required.
  • 9+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience.
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with commercial or financial services clients.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy.
  • Lead multiple audit engagements and competing priorities.
  • Review and examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively.
  • Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals.
  • Supervise, train and mentor staff during engagement.
  • Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations.

What Work You Will be Responsible For

Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 5 + years of supervisory experience
